At the same time, when discussing young people, it’s essential to acknowledge their natural tendency to challenge norms and explore new possibilities. Balancing these points leads to the most effective strategy: a balanced opinion.
With this balanced viewpoint, the structure becomes clear. The task response should have two body paragraphs: one focusing on the importance of following traditions and the other exploring the benefits of allowing young people to act freely. The conclusion should tie these ideas together, presenting a nuanced, balanced stance.

There is an ongoing debate about whether young people should follow traditions or have the freedom to act as individuals. Both views have their points, and it is important to look at both sides before forming an opinion.
Following traditions can be valuable for young people, and it is also a way to preserve culture. Traditions often carry lessons and experiences passed down through generations, providing young people with valuable insights to solve common problems in daily life. For example, traditional wisdom related to relationships, decision-making, or even health can offer practical guidance. Additionally, traditions promote positive values like respect, hard work, and a sense of community, which are essential for personal and social development. Furthermore, preserving traditions helps maintain cultural diversity and identity. Without young people to learn and inherit them, these customs may fade away, leading to a loss of heritage and uniqueness in society.
Young people, however, should have the freedom to explore and challenge existing norms. History shows that many great changes happened because people questioned traditions and explored new possibilities. Encouraging creativity and curiosity allows young people to develop fresh ideas and contribute to progress, just as previous generations once did. By stepping away from outdated or harmful practices, they can create a more inclusive and innovative society. For example, advancements in science, art, and technology often result from breaking traditional barriers and thinking differently.
In my view, both sides have valid arguments. Though it is essential to respect and inherit meaningful traditions, it is equally important to encourage young people to explore new ideas and push boundaries. A balance between the two can help preserve culture while promoting growth and innovation.
